No problem,

I used my IB's in the morning for the qualifications and discharged them after the heat to 0.9 per cell and charged it before the finals again.
But I always had the feeling that the 2nd time you have a little less runtime.

Not a problem........just make sure you discharge it, balance it, and let it sit at least an hour (longer the better) before the next charge...2 run per day is not a problem...but more then that might not be good.

I use the same 4200Ib all night ...
cool it off and just recharge...

I find the pack gets faster each charge , a lot faster compared to a pack that needs to be waken up first... ...

can you just recharge them straight after they cool down instead of discharging them?

I do.

I used to fully discharge then equalise etc. but I don't bother any more, just allow them to cool for a couple of hours etc then top them back up.

I haven't noticed any performance drop at using this method.

One of our regulars who keeps finishing in the top ten at the UK KO GP etc. only runs two packs of cells all day

I know several guys that run the same pack through both qualifiers and the main. They tray the pack before the first charge, then just cool and recharge the rest of the night. They claim the pack get faster through the night. After they discharge, tray and add 500mah back in.

I don't know about others....I have all the time I need to discharge and tray the packs, and the reason I does that because when the time I start charging the pack, I should expect something like 4000-4800 mah at the end of the charge cause I knew my pack was discharged to 0.9v. That way, if the charger peaked at 3000mah, I knew it was a false peak, and I know how much I should add more.......or I can tell something is wrong about the pack.

However, if you are not "ALL OUT" about the race or running stock motor racing, sometimes I don't discharge the pack cause typical 4200 should have plenty of juice left for 5 minutes.

Ppl tray it before teh first charge is very much like a little "CYCLE" mode...kinda like me getting up and go to work on MONDAY. need couple bad client's phone call and b_tch about the project, then couple coffees, and then finally ready to get back to work after the 2-3 hours lunch...LOL.

I have 2 packs of these cells. I charge from fresh and use them in my first run, then I charge from fresh the second pack and use these in my second run and continue to alternate through the day.
Always let them cool between charges and they will get better through the day.

Now that no one is messing with gp3300's and all that dead-shorting stuff, to hell with all the voodoo and crap.... equalize before race day, then just charge and re-peak as needed between heats. 2 times a day no problem. I used to put alot of effort into how I treated my packs but it's not worth it.

Re-peak?? From what i have seem with Intellects re-peaking can cause the cells to vent badly. I never re-peak mine.
