pressure line
hy guys,
i noticed that almost all drivers were using a sort of alu filter on the pressure line between the pipe and the tank. is it a fuel filter or somthing else?
thanks.

Its a pressure chamber that acts like a damper for the exhaust pulses.
You could use a filter with out the element although I dont think the element would bea problem.
Just learned about this myself and will be testing different pressure line lengths this weekend.

What effect does the length of the fuel line have? And generally what is the best length to use. Im referring to both the fuel line and pressure line.

The fuel line limit is the legal capacity. The pressure line is open for you to test .From what I understand the guys to say is that a shorter or longer line effects teh response and smoothness of engine power as weel as being able to run a slightly leaner midrange with the longer line.
I would think taht a longer line could also help in a bit more fuel milage as it smooths out the power band.
Might be wrong ,would be great to get some experienced guys to comment too.
