My SD was very off balanced, the battery side was much heavier than all of the electronics, is the R2 the same way?

Default KO RACER

Macky mentioned that you run your R2 on carpet with foams. I have a few questions:

Do you run it stock? How do you do against the other cars?
Do foam tires fit "WITHOUT" modifcations? TRC 26mm and Jaco 28mm.

I have just yet to see one of these cars and am a little uncertain about it. Looks awesome, but........ Please let me know your thoughts.

PS: I think I bought a Pro 3 from you a while back.....

How do you do against the other cars?****** I ran very well for being off for a good while. the cars there where tc3,yoko,mission,x-ray

Do foam tires fit "WITHOUT" modifcations? TRC 26mm and Jaco 28mm.********** I dont know about the 26mm but the 28's that i ran hit the hubs . i now use excel hubs and i have no problems at all.
there is one guy that runs a R2 and 28's but he uses spacers
and i tried that and lost a wheel during a heat so i dont suggest it.

PS: I think I bought a Pro 3 from you a while back************yeah that has been awhile . i bought your old xxxs LOL.....

In front of the battries works for me.
The R2 is very well balanced right/left fore/aft, that prolly helps to make it so easy to tune

Sorry to here about the famdamily issues KO: I had a good time in NC, nice people, great track, and some killer competition, those guys are F A S T

Randyman: I'm sure I'll see you out at SoCal, as it sounds like you dont have an R2 in the his ouse....just hold tight and I'll show all that I know ?

Madjack who post here has an R2 with a Brushless RTR, maybe he can post a pic of it or something

Also just a reminder www.alexracingusa.com always has good info.

Default KO RACER

So what does one need Joseph?

R2 kit
PAL drive system
Excel rear hubs (foam tires)

Does it come with dual diffs? If not, one would need a front diff also.

1) Yes
2) Yes and no not really nessisary ...but makes the drive train stronger
3) Speedway PAL/EXCEL hubs front and rear to clear the foams..also you`ll need the upper deck tie rod addaptor to use the hubs now too...but good luck getting a set for about a month..they are on back order in Japan

And the kit comes with a rear diff and a front one way...

I`ll let Ko Racer answer the rest of your Questions
