thats an Xray battery strap.... works pretty well. i use one on my 415.

Ok guys...done deal... I just bought a pair of R2's with the PAL conversions...
I'll be running these on carpet...
Can anyone offer me a setup to go with initially.
I'll see if I can find some setup sheets to print out...if I can't find any, anyone willing to email me one?

I use Firefox as well and it craps out if you just point it to www.alexracingusa.com You are right, your link works good.

I still think they are very cool cars. I really like the way the a arms mount to the chassis.

Too bad the Alex USA site don't receive more updates and have its own forums on their. Think that would be very cool. I really want to run these cars again but want to see some updated stuff or a new updated car possibly with more hopups for your money.

They arrived around 3:30 today... Wow... gorgeous cars!!! LOTS of parts, lots of NIP foams, etc... Very happy with the deal, and very impressed with the cars.
Roadwizard was fantastic to deal with as well.
