hey.. I just assembled my R3... the problem is...

1. how long is the servo to ackerman link is??

2. i followed the manual..but, the servo throw between left n right is not equal... say, 80% right and 60% left... is this normal??

I need a couple of packs of cells buying and building! Then ill be able to hit the track with the R2 i got from Dave.
Quick one, 28mm wide foams too big for the car, they foul the top camber links?

They are basically an aluminum sleeve that goes over the diff outdrives. ZS-501R is the part number

No that is not normal. You need to make sure the steering rack is perfectly centered, and then you will need to readjust you steering links and change the length of your tie rod coming off the servo. If it is not perfect you will have throws that are not the same. Best thing to do is measure the steering rack to find the center point. I would then measure across your chassis where the steering rack goes and mark that spot. Now line up the two centers marks and readjust everything else.

You should be only a one or two number differance on the throw if centered right.

Are Yoke springs ok for the Cuda shocks as I'm easily confused and all the Cuda springs are black

The Yokomo Springs will fit just fine...aslo the new HPI springsa for the Pro 4 fit good too
