There is talk of starting a drifting car class at our track... they look fun to drive.... but most die hard - hard core racers think they are just toys...

Here's a few pics of my R2. The rear single bearing shaft holder is courtesy of KORacer (thanks bro!) and I just installed the Xenon aluminum c-hubs. That motor installed was used to break the car in.

Nice looking Cuda. I actually remember running those spec motors in those TRC and Trinity spec trucks.

Sorry folks.

You only got half the story. Ask DHI who else was racing.

Actually I'll tell you, and if you want it verified officially log onto www.irmcc.com and check out the official race results for yourselves..

I was there. I'm coming on 58 years old and just play. I know I'm no match for youngsters at driving. Preparing cars, perhaps!

Yes, it waqs karl, muself, and 2 "B" grade drivers in only their 2nd season of racing. That was the full entry for the class.

None of the regular "A" drivers bothered. Karl was the only one.

So you see you have to have a full story before you form conclusions. Warped stories can make anything look brilliant.

But congrats to Karl anyhow. Actually his best lap was 12.11, and mine was 12.16. And I consider myself too old to race these days.

Form your own conclusions.

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.
