that must be poking out of the bottom of the chassis

Chris why dont you file just a little bit under the chassis just to be safe. Im gonna do that when I have the time because I like 100-64

put a piece of protective tape under the chassis where the spur gear is and you don't have to worry about dirt and pebbles getting in...

ah but you could get a pebble sit on top of the tape and get crunched into the spur....

how about placing a thin sheet of plastic over the opening of the chassis and tape around the outer edge?

I cover the whole bottom chassis except the motor hole.
Not sure if it's a good idea.

Hey i got some superglue in spots i don't want it during my chassis prep. Is there a good way to remove dried super glue?

I use Loctite glue remover. Apply, set it down for a minute, then it become gooey. WD40 or Goo Gone afterwards.
