Hello all was thinking of changing spurs and pinions from 48p to 64. Does anyone know the correct conversion on how to do so?

Or better yet what are you useing to keep gear ratio's between 6.4 to 7.5

I havent heard of that bieng a problem. On some impacts though, you can break just about anything.

no i don;t belive that you could break the delrin by over tightening. maybe in a hard crash you could break it though

as an fyi the delrin R2 diff is so close to the Yok delrin pieces that yo would see that car have the same problem. so close you could probly use it with the longer front dog-bones - which i haven't tried by the way

Sorry for being late. Was at Socal the whole day. As for Randy's driving, I can sure vouch for that. This guy is awesome and runs just fine alongside the Pro guys. Something he should definately be proud of..

Actually, no hostility. The Evo does have it's merits as well. Heck!, every car has it's own. In fact, as much as I love Pinky, I rebuilt and drove my XRAy EVO2 at Socal today and it did not disappoint me. Although I can't negotiate the corners as fast or as precise with it's belt drive, I manage to get the car pretty dialed and was pulling faster and faster laptimes. I'm thinking I'll race with it tomorrow if I can get rid of the off power push. Which is a beiiiiatch! LOL..

Thanks for the good words Dan I picked up a GT7 today so that I can run stock or 23 turn tomorrow. Dont really know why I'm having the urge to run slower motors though

If you're runnig a 23t, you might want to set the GT7 to profile 6. I just found that it's really torquey and for this track, Man! you'll need every ounce of it.

I'm thinking tomorrow night, strap on some nice Fukuyama Cells (Jimmy's personal stash along with a motor he built for me, gear it down a tooth or use red springs on both sides, ask slim to let me start last just so I can start first in the second heat and TQ BABY!!!!!)......

Or you could just hook me up with Jimmy's personal stash and that motor he built and I'll show the prostock (if they even get a heat of them) guys how to drive on a technical course
