from what I was told they still have a few machineing things left to?@and .....it will be released after the All Japan Touring Chapionships at the end of August..

BUt now that you all have sen the Xenon version...and now the PAL version...can you see the similarities...(how the companies are linked) ...

anywasy...exspect 30000 Yen price tag on that along with the Xenon kit as a retail price...

both vesions will have there own unique special differance.. also you are looking at the A type in the pic..there is a B and C type also being made...

nope i dont have yet . it wont be realsed until the end of the month as you said . cost is still not clear yet. i guess we will know more after there holiday is over .

So if Xenon and Speedway PAL are so close will there be much difference between their conversions?
Obviously they have the cells mounted on different sides in the photo's we've seen. I'm guessing the Xenon photo is of an earlier version though. The top decks both have V sections across them and have the same shape join for the motor mount (which is obviously reversed) but the Xenon one looks like it is made from the old PAL kit topdeck, the newer PAL one has a ladder type shape to it. Will the Xenon kit end up with the new ladder top deck?
Will they have a wide brace on the rear section of the top deck? or is this just a feature of the A spec PAL and PAL will have maybe more and less bracing for the B and C specs?
The Xenon pic also shows no sign of machining on the main chassis to lower bulkheads, so I'm guessing it was using a normal thickness chassis, have they gone to 3mm like PAL and machined it out for production kits or have they stuck with a thinner chassis?
Neither of them seem to have holes for a battery strap mount, looks like it's tape or drill your own holes, unless they add holes for the final production?

So anyone got any answers?

Herm - The problem is I dont think anyone has seen the conversions in person. But all I know is I'll be getting the PAL conversion, I dont think you can lose with that choice.

its starting to be like when hpi released the pro 3 chassis came out from evey where there must of been 6 or 7 different chassis for that money pit. I must say the barracuda is the most durable car i have owned and as many people have said there tough right out of the box. the only you might want ot buy is upper shaft holders .

This car definately is a money pit. Like you said, it runs great bone stock, but with so many different variations of the car, it's hard not to want them...

Just as a side note, If Alex makes the center shaft holders out of that new Hard material, there may be no need for the Aluminum shaft holders.

This car is only a money pit if you want it to be, the Pro 3 was a money pit if you wanted it to perform.
Some of us still have only one cuda and thats close to stock I think RBF knows what I mean

Hmm hard shaft holders, or even bulkheads..... nah, I like my shiney bits too much
