I have two bodies that have been long since discontinued by the manufacturers..over 5 years? 1 is specific to a chassis and it is the only one that will work due to width and wheelbase.

Does anyone know of a resource that I could send the originals body out to have a small run 3-5 units made?

I have two brand new units to use as a mold.

I am only doing this for personal use and have no intention of reselling.

The truth is the net brings just about anything to our doorsteps. We just have to try. I find things that I would of never thought I could have. It is all because of this damn computer. Gotta luv it.

I think he was trying to find someone to take a mould from the two 'unused - new' shells that he has, as they are discontiued, I don't think he was after finding a source to buy more, just someone to make a mould for him, and vacform some bodies.

I dont want to have any issues with the original manufacturer...thats all...no national security issue....lol.

Manufacturers dont like when you back poor bodies as they pay license fees to real car manufacturers etc....and that is basically what I am doing as they are no longer in production and I am asking on how to do this on a forum that is widely viewed by manufacturers.

I already had guys pm are you doing such and such body I will buy one..etc.

Thats not what I am looking to get into...I just wanted to have a couple of back up bodies as I only have 1 of each left and I have searched the net/ebay for months and cant find any.

I figured some one had some knowledge on how to go about doing this.

I think you may be making a bigger deal out of a simple question.

I appreciate any info thanks...if you want to help me search that would be great just pm me...thats all.
