I purchased some sorex 28 and put some HPI red inserts in on Yok wheels, I had to wrap the wheel three times to get the same air gap as the take off 22 I mounted. Do you think they will work. Im getting ready for a big off road race and havent had a chance to try them out.
In thickness they are pretty close. But they do not feel the same. The HPI Reds are really soft. Good for low traction. The Firm A's are of course very firm. The Firm A is pretty close the the Xenon Grays. TO 22s with HPI reds are going to be very soft and should heat up very fast, maybe OK on some tracks. But if your tires are overheating, not too good. Maybe the 28s with the red all around will work better than the 22s. Firmer front tire will help with fighting traction roll.

This setup might be ok if your the likes of masami but i've gone back to standard as I crash too much.
Just my 2 cents.

hypermaximus- no offence but that's the third time we've heard about it and we've been talking about it the past week or so. Andy East has been on here answering questions and such as well.

Wow.... I've got all the aluminum parts, without a dummy transponder mine was 1465.... I'm working on shedding a few more grams today....

No, without a body.... Since my bodies are always changing and pieces of lexan are falling off I didn't weight my current body... Hehe....
