Hi guys. Greetings from Malta.
STEVE WANG
I sent you a private E mail yesterday. I know you are up to your eyeballs in SD kits to send out at the moment.
If you could let me have a reply we may be able to do some business.
Incidentally I counted the boxes too - businessman's approach perhaps! And yes I thought Steve had already put one away for himself too. I certainly would have done.

That's just how I was planning to do the servo mod. I'm impressed that you managed to get one arm mount in. That should anchor the servo alot better. There is obviously more space than I imagined, or are you using a particularly small servo? I was already making plans to make a new CF chassis to accomodate it.
On the driveshaft thing, if MR4 units fit then it shouldn't be much of a problem using them. I have plenty of them and I rarely break one, despite using the car constantly.
We have a championship meeting tomorrow. Whilst I love my MR4 Special I am hoping that tomorrow's event will be it's last - hopefully with another win.
Regards
Joe from sunny Malta.

I used Evo3 low mount servo horns and it requires you to cut the ears off the servo to allow it to mount under the support brace. Also need to shim up the ball stud on the steering to allow clearance of the mainshaft during hard right turning.

What did you use to countersink the new holes on the chassis?

Are theses cars hard to get ? I know i sent the guy from SpeedTech like 3 emails and never got anything back from them..

Johnbull,
Yup, I got it. Look for a reply from me soon
TheGame,
These cars are little bit hard to get right now because of the limited amount that came in. I believe a total of only 250 kits came into the US (we helped Yokomo unload the truck yesterday too...free volunteer worker I was hehehe)
We might have some left over as some pre-order customers credit card did not go through (it always happens) and I will post on here if there are any left.

Yoke SD and Special/PRO/Worlds Compatibility
Hi Guys, I would like to know exactly what parts on the old yokes will fit the SD.
Can anyone confirm the following if in fact they are the same:
* universals/bones
* bearings
* springs
* diff assembly (exept ring gear ofcourse) thrust washers, balls, setcrew etc.
* 1-ways
Please feel free to add to the list - those who still have the old parts and have used them, thanks

Rear universals & bones are the same.

How do you like the SD? How is the steering feel? still think that the SP had the best steering ever on a 1/10 TC. Can't wait.....

Haven't recieved the car yet should be arriving this Tues.
I have the SP SSG and compared the parts list with the SD. Those are the major parts that are compatible..
Maybe I'll get to race with you some day...planning a visit in Nov.
Hopefully the SARS epidemic is extinguished..

rc-zombies,
did'nt know you were from the Phil. We are expecting the kits to arrive the same time, tues/wed over here. I think it will be the Japanese Ver. so it should come with the 1-way
The SARS epidemic here is almost non existant, at least in Cebu. Some isolated cases but nothing serios.....hope it stays that way.

If its not too much trouble, are parts like the wheel hub (EZ hubs), ball bearing on the the diff and wheel side shared with the belt MR4 too?
Cheers
