Yokomo USA should be getting in the "black" SD in a couple of weeks. It's the exact same car but with regular graphite instead of the SSG.

The car is already stiff as a brick, that's why alot of people are taking the center brace off.

I guess it's already here then some of the team suzuki parts should be in the states this week to, probably the steering blocks, rear hubs, and upper deck mounts but not positive what arrived.

but wait till you all see the new..RaySpeed chassis that's out for the SD... it's pretty trick.. and it has the servo ina different location..and a nice upper deck and lower chassis along with different shock towers ...... but Sinosuke Adachi is running 2 rear shock towers..on his...front and rear?...

got any pics of the rayspeed chassis? what's different? alot of people here have put the rear tower on the front to change the steering response of the car.

No pic's yet...but I saw Sinosuke's SD at my local track the other day when then were doing a shoot for RC world .... it's very slick looking

sould be out in the new RC world here shortly..

My SSG had a lot of flex actually, I think the black carbon version is much needed. I got much better traction when I stiffened the car up, but can only go so far with the SSG.

I dont think the placement of the battery matters that much. Dave Berger took 2'nd at the Reedy race, and won the KO challenge with a regular R2. If you really want the batts on the left side, get the PAL R2.

JDM_DOHC_SiR can tell ya. Really the R2 doesnt need much upgrading though, I guarantee you'll love the car in stock form, I already do.
