Im running the David Goss setup with a few little changes, you can find it on Mo's website . The track is really smooth and flowing. Most likely be using a oneway. Traction is pretty good.

I have been building and racing real race cars - successful ones too - for over 30 years and have learnt quite a bit about suspension tuning. However I cannot understand the advantage of having a trailing top front link like the SD has. I understand lenghtening it or shortening it to vary camber change angles. I also understand altering it's position to vary roll centre, but since the hub pivots on the kingpins I don't see that moving the outer pivot point of the top link back or forward should make a difference.

However despite being almost 57 years old, I am still learning and stiull have plenty to learn, so if anybody can give a suitable explanation I will be very glad to listen and learn.

With the Losi my set up's never changed from speedworld to Ripon so the David Goss set up should be a good starting point. You'll have fun there and definately put a oneway in the car. The track is fast and flows.

Johnbull - I didn't think it would make much of a difference if the camber link was trailing or paralell either, but still had to ask

Has anyone gotten the Yokomo graphite driveshaft yet? I got mine, and it is really thin graphite, with aluminum endcups. I can definately see how it could be snapped by a mod motor, just hoping mine will hold up a little better than that.

I have the graphite shaft as well. Looks thin,, but then again.. graphite is pretty strong. I'll only be running it in Stock Class so I'm not too worried about. The thing I AM worried about is the pin that goes thru the graphite and aluminium ends. One side looks like the pin didn't get pushed all the way thru. Kinda shotty if you ask me. But oh well. No time to send it back. If it breaks I'll try a thinner aluminium or titanium shaft. We'll see tomorrow! It did hold up today though for practice (race rained out.) Oh well. Funny weather we've been having here. Well let me go paint a body.....

OK guys, I finished my prototypes today. I think they turned out pretty good. They are a little rough buy they were basically made with a dremel and a drill press. There are a couple close up pics on my website. www.mo-net.ws under pictures.

Those do look great Mo! A track report is well anticipated...lol I know the interest in something like that would be high. I ran the PRP Shock Towers on my XXX-S and really enjoyed the extra positions. Looks great!
