Default throttle servo

I've got a Hitec HS-945 MG which has 152 oz of torque and a transit time of .12 sec. Would that be a sufficient throttle/brake servo?

That's plenty of torque. As for speed, I always believed that there was no need for a servo to be faster than my hand.

i just got the new RSX series Kopropo servos for my new NT1WE. all i can say is crazy smooth and quiet. first impression very impressed. they are a little on the expensive side but i think they are well worth it.

Makes a lot of sense when you put it that way. Besides, it'll more cost efficient if i use it instead of buying another servo. Besides, I don't think I'll be able to notice .05 sec difference. Thanks CCR1.

Default Steering servo

I'm looking for a low-profile steering. Any recommendations?

Savox 1251MG
FUTABA S9551 or BLS551

The 1251mg is really cheap and very fast. Plus the gear set is very cheap too.

I have been using the S9551 in the throttle for quite some time without any problems.

The BLS551 seems to be good, but expensive.

These are a good alternative too... Although, I broke a tooth in one of the gears of this servo, thank god they use the same gear set as the 1251MG. Many say that Orion servos are just Savox servos rebranded... Or maybe the other way around...

Yes, I beleive Savox makes the servos for spektrum and orion. I use the spektrum servos in 1/8th scale.
