Xray NT1

I was bored after kicking so much ass during carpet season . No, for real I expected the first several races to be rained out and I am busy with work, starting a new business and engineering school. Any one of which is enough of a pain in the ass. RC has taken a back seat to it all. and not that it matters that I haven't shown up, like 2 of the three races got rained out right?
Hope to see you at the track...someday!

For anyone looking for more consistent braking using the stock brake pads, here's a cheap easy mod I did to my pads while being bored lol. You just cut material allowing you to use springs that separate the pads from each other after braking. this will reduce the friction created from the disk rubbing on the pads, and your pads will also last longer...
Pictured are the soft 2speed springs for the NT1, which are the correct length but are just too hard for this operation. the O'donnell brake springs for their ZO1 buggy Is what worked out for me.
Use 2 of the springs on each side, 4 come in the pack.

You'd be better off getting a nova 2652 pipe or 2660... Used the skyline pipe a long time ago when they were still making them. you'd get better performance using one of the newer pipes from Novarossi. It's fine to use for practice though...
