Why on earth people think they use 23T motor? This is expert mod class, mod motor without turns limit

Yeah....please, they are not as fast as mod with 6 cells, but those are no 23T stock motor.....ppl like HARA or MASAMI race 23T when they were 3 years old, those are mod motors....

They might look slower...but if you are watching the movie #2 of Masami for that lap like 3-4 times.....you will realized that he is riding his car like drawing a curve over the track....kinda like art work. I wish I can do that in slow motion....LOL

Sure the driving is excellant... but from a spectators view it's not at all as exciting as watching the pros run 6 cell mod. When you think of "Mod" racing you think of insane acceleration an speeds. This is more like watching the stock 6 cell class... the cars top out before the end of the straight. This puts more emphasis on making HP either by motor or batts... like stock racing

Yeah does not sound like fun to watch. They did look slow. Looked like stock.

does anyone know what was the fastest (or faster) lap time at Yatabe Arena with the old 6 cell rule (mod)?
then we can compare to the new 4 cell laptime and see how much slower they are.

But it looks professional for sure
No, that's not professional enough. His cellmastetrs are not even matched! Come on, two purple and two black.. Any decent rc driver should know the cells charged by the black cellmasters won't have as much power as the one charged by the purple limited edition one

it was so challenging on runing JMRCA the lap time are so close each other start from 4 position to 50 position qualifiyer they can did the same lap that mean if your lap time miss a micro sec you will lower few position.

what motors are they using? 4x1???

Check the heat 9 round 5 for example:

Everyone was dumping in the last lap..

Hara's last lap was 20 sec!

So, the rule of 4 Cell isn't better than old 6 cell rule about the battery war.

From what i gather (from products available), the manufactuers have to produce a new line of motor to meet the requirements of JMRCA this year. The range of motor in general start at 7turns and goes as low as 4. I am quite surprise that they are dumping on the last lap, but interesting to see that it will not just be a 2 way battle between Hara and Masami. Anyone got a list of equipment for the A main (i.e. chassis, batteries and so on)

No, 4cells makes it allot harder to make runtime!!
So, they run like stock motors AND dumping, too funny!!

Maybe they weren't expecting to consantly make 20 laps! Masami seems to have been making 20 laps every run, so he might have set his electrics up to last that extra lap. It appears that Hara was less sure as he has just been missing the 20th lap in many runs, so he may have his electrics set slightly differently, hence why his last lap dump was a lot worse than Masami's. This is something they had to calculate at the last JMRCA nats, Masami was dumping around 5secs after finishing, so if he'd have made it through to do an extra lap he could have been in trouble!
It will be interesting if it all came down to the last lap in the finals, it would be dissapointing to see a driver lose due to dumping.
