Carbon/Graphite Parts
Wut are your guys take on upgrading parts to carbon or graphite. I was thinkin about the radio tray and shock mount bars. Wut it prove to be helpful or is it a useless hop up?

If your just begining in the hobby i would suggest that you stick to the steel parts because they can really take a beating when you hit things. The advantage of upgrading to carbon fiber would be the weight savings. For the shock towers the carbon fiber saves weight but can break eventually in an accident. These are good hop ups if your racing a lot.

I think that plastic on its own is very light. The advantage of putting graphite parts is that it is stiffer than plastic plus it looks a lot nicer hehe.
