I was thinking of coming up. I can't make it till Thursday morning. How will pit space be when I get there?

I agree, races are too long! Too many days and too many hours per day. Races used to be 3 days long and racing would be done around 7-8 at night.

IMO, racing used to be a lot more fun back then because people were able to get away from the track at night and hang out and relax a little bit. Now you are at the track for about 14 hours and most people only leave to sleep or eat. It seems like people used to travel more when they only had to take one day off from work too.

Nobody says that you have to show up for practice Tuesday - Thursday. It's there for people that can show up to practice... just a thought.

I just noticed that my transponder number is wrong on the entries list... I was wondering if I can get it changed now so I don't have to bother you guys at the race...

thanks!

Well the guys who cant get there till Wednesday will not be missing much as it ALWAYS Takes at least a full day to get a good groove down on a new layout or get it at least to "big race" groovieness!! So all your missing the first day is a lot of bench racing and groove laying....

DTW (detroit metro) is the closest airport. It's about 15 - 20 mins from the track. There are also airports in Flint and Lansing, but both of these are about 1+ hr from the track.
