Brian,
probably there will be the largest concentration of genX cars in the world at the Cleveland Holiday Inn next week. And probably a whole bunch of those cars' owners would be inclined to purchase up a nice precut foam bumper or two (myself included) for their genX rides. Any chance you could (or perhaps already have) make some arrangement to have your spiffy new product on the hobby shop table at the race??

That is absolutely brilliant. I did this for the Snowbirds and Carpet Nat's. I wont be attending this year (I need to go on cruise somewhere in Central America) and I have lost touch with the LHS that supports the race. Any help here would be much appreciated! Plus there is still plenty of time order up before the race. Best of luck to those attending!!!

The new open X-pod is the easiest design to put a brushless motor in a 12th scale. CRC has raised the bar once again in the 12th scale ranks. My pod has been flawless for the 2 months of running it. People have done a double take checking it out with all the room it leaves.

Is the following left bulkhead the correct one to use for a brushless motor or is this "Open-X" pod something different? I currently have a brushless in my Gen-X with the two standard "rectangular" bulkheads. Adjustment and removal of the brushless is difficult with this setup.

to anyone racing at BCR (Bending Corners Raceway) what gear ratio (pinion and spur) is a good start for stock and for 19T running on CRC High rollers
I'm completely new at 12th scale, and I'm ready to dive in with my Gen X

give me an average laptime at your track and I will recommend something....
I run between a 1.60 and 1.70 rollout at SIR....it is a 10-12 second track...

ran my car today with the open-x rear and the new long upper balls and brace front
very nice, makes the car much smoother to drive
the rear yes you can get a motor in very easy but i think it stiffens the rear end up too,for side to side
the front just like i thought, less edging and smooth steering in mid corner.

When will the new Open-X pod be available for purchase?

I'm looking for rollouts for 19t and stock motor for that track... thanks
(haven't made up my mind which I want to run... I have good motors in both categories)
