Nice black Carrera GT RC Crazy!!
Haven't run mine yet with this bod. Only have two tanks through it, testing last weekend, but I had the SC8 body on..
Mine came painted silver btw - kind of boring color...
The SC8 body is a perfect fit btw...

I've seen this Spektrum servo with both S and H before the numbers. Does that mean surface and heli? What's the difference?

Hey DM-1 folks, got a small problem.. I want to run 2 of the smaller bearings up front, so ordered the Ofna shim kit...
The problem is, the two black pieces don't fit inside the front of the DM-1 CB.. The opening at the end of the CB as well as the round black part int he picture are both about 9mm. So, what's the solution?
I currently have the shorter extension from the other Ofna shim kit, that you can see in this picture(the part furthest to the right)..:
The problem is, it requires a good many shims - probably 6-7, which makes me queasy..(I live in Germany and do not want to shred a 2-speed or something and have to order parts from the States...) I have a second CB and engine here I want to get clutched up - but I need to sort out this extension/shim deal....
Thanks..

'K... Thanks...
Did I understand that correctly - guys are using the longer extension from the kit(second pictured above), and using THREE smaller bearings?? Is that stable? Seems like a long extension to have just butted up against the end of the shaft?
Really a dumbaxx design there with the CB...

and have never had a problem with bearing failiure.
Being that two and a half of the front bearings rest
on the crank itself, the extension doesn't have to handle
much of a load. There are several different ways to set-up
the extensions and shims. This is something that you will
have to figure out yourself. As far as a dumb set-up goes,
you should see the needle bearing set-up in the stock Koyo
cars. No wonder those guys have so many clutch and two-
speed problems.
