Dressed up as a "TA-05" Porsche 934 commemorative model...
Stretch the wheelbase a little and you have a mid-motor 415.

it's a ta05 type-r not a 416 I think tamiya will just continue to evolve the current design.

Personally speaking I don't think Tamiya would have gone to the trouble of developing that new centre bulkhead and layshaft assembly for only one car, even if it is a very special model.
So my money is on a longer wheelbase version of this car being released as a TRF416 or similar.
We can only wait and see though...

I believe part of that...I don't believe they spent the R & D on that car for just this Limited release...but I don't think it's the 416, I think it's finally a peak at the TA05r that all the faithful 05 owners have been waiting for!
