Congrats Barry! Finally won a big gas race for AE. Hey give credit where credit is due. The best racer won, no excuses. It was a surprise though, I thought Osaka was taking this one.

We need to stop all the bench-racin' trash talk. All these cars ARE very capable of winning races and all have their flaws(gas tanks, stripped belts, diff gears, cheap plastic,etc.). What matters is what YOU like to drive. Except maybe a CEN, j/k

I agree. I have personally said sone harsh things about the NTC3. But I was not meaning to talk directly about Associated or the car. I simply dont like shaft drive systems. But I do like the actual car (especially the suspension set up).

If Associated offered an NTC3 with belts I would be the first to get one.

Its nice to see them winning all the same. It shows they can keep at least one car together for more than 5mins. j/k

Congrats Barry.

at this level of race, it is at the TX side ! Anyway, the NTC3 proves that Barry is a great driver cuz the car is so fragile !

Yes, I must give credit to Barry. To be able to steer the car, avoid the boards and keep the car together through the 45 minute mains is a feat in itself.

It has nothing to do with the car. It's got everything to do with the driver. At this level of competition, all cars are equal.

Now it would be interesting if Barry drives for Cen The next thing you know is your LHS will be selling them like hot cakes

Advanti, it has got everything to do with marketing. I think in the states the V1RR is not famous because of the lack in terms of promotion and the fact that it is being overshadowed by the Trinity with whatever arm twisting tactics they have...

Josh Cyrul could have easily driven a V1RR because on the 1/8th scale, he drives a Kyosho Fantom. But you see him driving a Trinity instead for the 200mm.

Keep the V1RR. It is a good car.

you have a perfectly good car....BUT,your question shows how well marketing works....I bet there are some (FORMER tc3),new Mugen MTX3 owners this morning wondering if they made the right choice....

and the truth is,all these cars are good....what makes a car good is this..how well do YOU drive the car....

I happen to like the tc3....I was faster with this then even my Impulse...I find it enjoyable to drive...and easier to work on....

but thats me.....If your're happy with the v1r,and feel comfortable driving it....thats all you need..
