I use Alycat, a club in Killeen and Abilene uses the software also. I have no problems to report here.

Hi Chris,
Just the basics..... do you find any shortcomings in the system?? What timing system are you using?? Do you have any experience with another program such as Jlap?? Thanks, Dino

Its very powerful in what it can do. Much more than Slyfox which seems to be a bit generic. The latest version is good and stable. We ran that for a year and have just updated it with the latest patch. We have hit a few snags with that though but it seems partly to be the system.

We have been using AMB20 soon to switch to AMB Rc personals.

big thread! Not. Anyone know of a more detailed thread of discussion about alycat? Im learning to use it at my local club. Ive hit a few snags here and there coz I've not been doing it long. Also want to know how I can Display live timing data on a 42" LCD without just mirroring the windows desktop. In otherwords has someone developed another app for windows that can extract alycats data (unless alycat has it built in and I just havent found it yet) and display it in nice big bold font for the guys in pit or around track to see? Or for overlay on video for that matter?

Another problem I would dearly love help with is: At the end of the day I try to create HTML Report to a USB Thumb Drive and its not exporting everything. For e.g. we have a Pro Buggy, Truggy and a Nove/EP Buggy. It will included detailed data for Say Novice, but nothing for Truggy and buggy, its has everyones names for truggy and buggy, but displays it as if they Did not start, so no timing or lap data?!?!?! WTH :/

I am not much help, but I know its possible as our club is one of the beta testing sites for Alycat, and the race director runs a separate projector showing the current race.

how he does it ?? but its possible.

As for the other problem I don't know what Ken's support model is (the guy who writes it) but have you tried contacting them ?
