Just wanted to say thanks for all the help all over this site.
I wanted to ask when you say "drilled" piston, How would I do it? And what do I use? Thanks
Anybody can give some input about "drilled" pistons if you know how, thanks.

the "54" refers to a #54 drill bit, you can get these at a machine shop supply and better hardware stores. then you can drill the holes to remove the taper that is molded into them to make them easier to get out of the mold. a drilled 54 vs. a molded 54 can be hard to tell apart so you might want to do the drilled version on a 56 piston, then you can look at it and tell its not a molded 56. hope that helps.

i can tell the difference in an electric car, so i would imagine you can tell the difference for a 1/8... its kinda like "in between" a 54 and a 55 etc..
Has anyone here tried the brake pads Avid sells? I was thinking about getting some..they "claim" they are less affected by fuel and grease but i find it kinda hard to believe..

buy the brake pads that ultimate makes. they are the same phenolic material of the avid but have a cooler cut out patern. i do notice they last longer than the losi stuff. when i pull out my center diff i just scuff the pads with fine grit paper and they become new again. i love them. they fit much better on the out drives also.

trebor - Of course!
Like everyone else added in, a "drilled" bit involves taking a smaller-size piston and drilling out the holes with a drill bit of the correct size. It sounds a bit trivial, but it's a nice in-between adjustment and drilling the holes out with a bit results in a more consistent piston size.
It may not necessarily be something that you could run back to back and notice which is which, but it will change the balance of the car (namely, add a little bit of 'pack' to the shocks).
Friery - What up?

team magic is owned by trinity so sometimes you have to look up trinity parts to get your team magic parts. unfortunately this wheel is out of stock until early july. you will have to wait a week i guess. or use the part number to find it somewhere else.
someone else stated raceday might have it their ebay site states they have 5in stock.
