GRP (I believe) makes some Road Rage tires... and if you look on Ebay I've seen cheap 1/8th scale slicks. Might be something to check out. I dont know if I would do it... rolling them at full speed sounds scary.

hey guys!! i am in a bind here, my flywhell nut cam loose and i fried the flywheel collet....as most of you already know it is differant than most. i did some searching and found two solutions:

i saw that someone recommended the associated 7618 http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/8037 but never did find a comfirmation that it will work for sure

also saw that a "1/10 sacle losi one" will work but didnt find a part number

anyone have any advice on what will work for sure since i am definatilly out for this weekend, and dont want to guess at parts only to find out it wont work right and be out for another week getting parts since losi dosent seem to sell the actual 8ight one (or referance a part number for it alone) without buying other stuff i dont need....and besides like everything else in the 8ight world it is backordered.

i am really bummed that this car is soooo awsome to drive but a $2 part will put me out for a week minimum, let alone wait for parts to be restocked.....ok, i am done wining, thanks in advance for the help!

I am 99% sure that the AE part number 7618 will work. I am 100% sure that I've got an AE collet on my 8ight, and looking through all the AE parts listings, there only appear to be two collets, the one above and the one for the Monster GT, which doesn't look right.

At just a few bucks each and your race weekend at stake, I'd order both the
AD2 collet and the AE collet, just to be sure.

+1 No need to get the AE collet. Just get the one for the NT. I'm running one right now and have another in my box o' parts.
