any guys having any binding with the throttle linkage? I am having a hard time aligning the carb with the throttle linkage without getting enough side load on the carb barrel to cause binding on the throttle (not good)

Two things!
1st, the rubber gromets under the throttle servo seem to have worked. I drove 2 tanks through it with no problems. I did, however, run a durability test(flew off biggest jump on track, straight into chain link fence post at 30+ mph, only cracked the hinge pin retainer... !)
2nd, I got my body back from the paint shop(father-in-law, he paints all my bodies) It turned out perfectly, I told him to try and match the box:

I asked Drake this question and he said that you need .040 under the front of the gearbox to make the extra 1 degree. However he warned me that the driveshaft could be close to popping out of the center diff. I decided to just order the 3/3 plate

I had to turn the ball end on the carb around to point to the back but that lined it up perfectly.

Here is the best way to clean a pipe. Put the pipe in a slow cooker and cover it with antifreeze. Turn it on real low, and let the pipe sit in there for a couple of hours. It will take all the caked on crud right off the pipe and look nice and clean.

You forgot the most important part....Don't let your wife know you borrowed her slow cooker!

I cant wait to go the Futaba Challenge and Pro Series Finals!
