Looks pretty awesome. Do you know if the after market XRay carbon fiber strap will work with this conversion? Or do I need to buy the exotek version for it?

I do not think the xray strap will work due to the tape hold downs

I had an Exotek kit on my 009 and my T3 and the strap won't work. The tape setup is GREAT, I also have the Exotek strap but I prefer the tape personally. The 009 even with the weight cups and a full size servo came in at 1450 with no added weight in full vta trim so with the new rules one would need to add 100 grams which is a SHIT TON of weight

Now we just need someone to test this chassis so we can see how much of an improvement it is.

I'd like to see lap times with the standard chassis and te exotech with the same setup.

Looking for a little help.

My club still runs foam sedan, boosted 17.5... I picked one of these up to join the class and am hoping someone can answer a few questions for me.

1. should I get a lipo weight to help balance the weight between both sides? I will be running a 5600 that weights 310g.

2. is there a good starting setup for club racing... we will have occasional 2 day races where traction comes up but most of our racing are 1 day races and then we roll the carpet up.

Thanks!

I would suggest starting with the kits suggested setup for foam or go to X-Rays site and look it up. And yes make sure your car is balanced left to right. I use lead stick on weights on the side of my lipo.
Hope this helps

tape it down with battery tape, there should be tape slots at the front and rear of the chassie.

So does anyone have a report on how the exotek chassis preforms.

Its either this chassis or a complete upgrade to a T3.

if this is going to offer a big handling increase then I'll get the chassis as its much cheaper than buying a new car.

I am also interested in hearing how the car performs with this chassis. Any one had a chance to give it a good test?
