I guess everyone who upgraded from a T2 to a 007 did it to have the latest and greatest, not because the car is better.
Sure not much input on pros and cons of the new car.

Whether it was just mental or the car itself all i know is that my driving has been much better, and i am finally challenging for the win instead of always being bq. I have had several people come up to me and say that i have improved dramatically since getting the new car.
I am glad i upgraded everytime i go to the track

The car seems to respond better to setup changes, is faster through the corners, and feels like it has more overall traction.

I almost won a race, if the bearings wouldn't die one me (first batch of T2007s, bearing died after 6 batteries!)

I'm getting back into touring and currently run the original T2. I was wondering if I should just purchase a 007 conversion kit or should I just break down for a new kit itself. Should I get the conversion kit, should I also get the EU version for when we run outdoors or will the US conversion work fine on asphalt with some changes in setup.

If you run asphalt indoor or outdoor stick with the EU spec car. The US spec chassis and top deck are way too stiff for asphalt racing.

What I noticed between the t2 and the 007 is the 007 is more stable. The added flex in the rear of the car makes it more consistant... Instead of stepping out in some corners abruptly it stays smooth and maintains forward momentum through the corner... thus more corner speed. Overall I found it easier to drive on at the limit, and that made me faster right from the get go.
