Well the first run of the car went pretty good, Just a little more tuning for my driving style...

What would you do to get more Mid to exit corner speed? seem that Im struggling at that part of the corners with the current setup...

go to 6 from a 4 degree front blocks help that?

That would help but you would lose entry steering. All depends on the track layout as well....

You running sway bars?

Asphalt or Carpet?

If the car is twitchy then more caster will help especially since you say the car has alot of entry steering. if you need more mid you can try a rear bar as well.

Cater is such an easy change you should just try that first.

How free are your cars if you spin the spur without the motor and wheels attached? does the spur do a full revolution? several?

You should try a front sway bar as well.... along with the 6 degree blocks. If not, try the 6 and stand the shocks up and it should tame down the twitchiness. (is that a word? LOL!)

Good luck!

Didn't read the no wheels part...there is almost no rotating mass to keep the spur turning with no wheels.... Nothing wrong with your car then

MikeXray-the spur should do at least one revolution....check the drive train and wheels for binding on the arms or shock ends. You can also take one seal out of the bearings and make sure they are towards the inside of the car. I run my car outdoors and still run the same set of bearings.

Hope it helps..

Corner of Center and Virgina, just south of downtown. I know it's 12pm to 10pm during the week, I don't think weekend times have been set yet (probably depends on what they come up with for a race schedule). Indoor carpet, wider but shorter than Stockton, same rules as Stockton.

I'm assuming your running rubber?

I did the same thing Butter suggested because I had the very same problem, the car was really twitchy. I went to 6 degree caster blocks. But that made me lose to much steering on entry.

Where are your front roll centers? I had mine in and down, Paul L had me move them Up and In and it removed all the twitchyness that I had, but I was able to still turn in.

Post your full setup in the XRAY forum online setup sheets so we can take a look at the whole picture.
