The EX-1 Mars R is a great radio. It is just as capable as the more recent models and has a ton of features (including high speed response). If you are comfortable with the Mars R, then keep it. A lot of good racers still use that radio.

I think that point has been made and beaten into the ground already.

Agreed, if no sort of transaction was made. There would be no reason for bad feedback. If there was then that would be somewhat of a different story. This thread should be either deleted of left alone. I think understands he needs to do research into something before doing it. Good luck with your search, I hope you find what your looking for.

The EX-1 is a great radio! I like my radios nice and compact. I actually think it looks "racier" than the Helios. IMO people change radios far too often! Run it till it breaks I say!

And X-Ray , if you're a leftie I'd look into a left-h capable radio if your more comfortable driving with it. It's important that your radio feels "right" in your hands. No need to get the latest and the greatest , good and affordable is better! And you can always keep the Helios as a keepsake or sell it off when you grow less attached to it.

Definately, I only jsut broke my EX11 and loved that radio, Its annoying trying to run mod with very little throttle control, I went for the Helios, IMO the difference wasn't that great between them.

Although it is a current gen radio.
