Default How Far are Sportwerks Buggies from Mugen, Kyosho, etc.?

I saw a post on another forum from a guy, stating that Sportwerks buggies were junk. Now, I know there is always someone that will say that about any manufacturer, but it got me to thinking...

In terms of quality and durability, how far away from say, a Mugen or Kyosho buggy, is the Mayhem/Turmoil Pro? (I'm not talking about the RTR version.)

I'm also not talking about handling - just quality of manufacture.

Also, is the durability of the Mayhem Pro better than the Jammin?

Thanks for any feedback.

IMO from a durability/quality standpoint the sportwerks buggys are on par with anything else out there. Arguably they are right there in the handling department too. There are a couple guys in our area that drive there Turmoils silly fast.

And then there's Mr. Brown

I've had a Mayhem RTR and now a Turmoil Pro. I like the car a lot. And the new V2 engines absolutely rip.

I've never run one or actually seen one first hand, but they must be pretty good. 2 in the Amain at the Novarossi race.

*note that those were the new Turmoil buggies not the old mayhem.

there is nothing wrong with them, one guy at my local track is on his 2nd or third full season, 2nd for sure, and its still running, and it runs pretty decent, they are deffinatly awsome club racing buggies,

They are decent cars but the designs lack refinement. The diffs are harder to get at than they need to be and the suspension arms are shorter than they could be. They steer and handle well but are not as good as the most current designs on rougher tracks.
