Default Touring Car Setup Systems

I am looking to gauge peoples' opinions on which set up system is the best for 1/10th scale electric touring cars. Accuracy, cross-compatibility and ease-of-use should all be factors.

Let's hear it!

Are you talking about comparing the Integy to the Hudy, type of thing?

If so, we've had this discussion before. . .

If not, well, consider myself chastized!

I suppose I could have used the search feature, but I guess when you run one of these forum thingies, you take stuff like that for granted. Thanks for finding the links for me.

And, of course, we can always do the discussion again! haha

I've never really used these newfangled setup gadgets, mainly because I seem to do just fine without them. Once it's on the track, I just adjust my driving to match the car. I use a ride height gauge, a droop gauge, and that RPM camber gauge, and that's it.

I am mainly interested in getting something that is just easier than using that 3-tiered combo I have!

I really like my Hudy gauges. I've got the RPM camber gauge, which is nice for quick checks between heats or something if you don't have much time, but I don't think it's as accurate. As far as I know, the Integy system is the same thing, just aluminum instead of plastic.

Default Soft case for Set-up Gauges

Anybody know of a "Soft" folding case to store the set-up Gauges in. I know Integy has the Hard case, but I need something that takes up less room in my Pit Box.

Thanks,

I gor the girlfriend to make one for mine from some black felt with pockets for the bits sewn onto it, then backed it wih more, so you can't see the stiching, added some velcro so it sticks together when you roll it up

I have the Integy system, and I love it, but it stays at home and I use an RPM chamber guage at the track.... , I had the RPM toe guage and hate it!! , now at the track I make toe adjustments by going 1/8 turns on each turnbuckle.... It just works out that 1/8th turn in or out on each of my tierods is approx 1/2 deg total toe..... this is with associated buckles.

I like that the integy guage it can be used on electrics or nitros, and is made of Aluminum so it won't be damaged easily.

However if you overtighten the setscrews it damages the barrels around the bearings ad makes disassembly and reassembly a terrible pain in the butt!!!!

The price is also a very nice feature!!!
