Default gtx

once its programmed the red light will stay on its supposed to. but it shouldnt be getting that hot. i still recommend you check wiring from esc to motor and to deans and the batteries you have, just in case. also check your trim settings in radio and when you do intial programming your epas need to be maxed. next plug it into a different reciever if you had an issues it will most likely blow throttle pot in reciever first. print off directions from novak site if you dont have them already. after this call novak for advice. and look for charlie from novak at next big race in your area he is awesome at helping right there at the track.

good luck, i have four gtx's and i love em

Yea, it sounds like its your setup button. I have seen this happen with another GTX and cause the systems you described after it received a good hit. We fixed it by getting the button to pop back up. I think you can buy another switch fixture from novak if it will not pop back up.
