Default Stampede X5

Anybody else out there have trouble with stampede transmission gears ripping out in a fairly high power setup? I run mine with a SS5800 brushless and 7 cell 3300mah GP packs and its always just a matter of time before something breaks. I tried the aluminum idler and the delrin top gear, but then I end up chunking the delrin top gear eventually. So far the best thing I've come up with is to keep the steel top gear and use the aluminum idler gear, but this requires fequently greasing or oiling the gears to keep the steel and aluminum from destroying each other, and this gets tedius and messy, and eventually the gears still wear out. Anybody know of a better setup or maybe a place where you can get a steel idler gear?
