Is the type R discontinued? Stormer Hobbies told me they can't get another kit in due to this.

I've heard the same thing. My R is getting pretty long in the tooth. I was hoping for an update, but it doesn't look likely.

I think Bob - Stormer can verify this. Stormer Hobbies know what's going on in the R/C world quite well and I am pretty sure they do their research before they say something like that.

I guess whomever you spoke with probably meant "It will be discontinued soon."

I'm not worried if it is discontinued as long as there is still parts support. Should get mine mid this week and take it for a test on the weekend.

Does the Losi 4400 fit in perfectly? The battery I hav now i have to pack foam beneath it or it slides around abit.

On mike haynes setup sheet it says for rear roll center, low+.30 Does that mean he added .30 washers on all of the pivot blocks in the rear?

I am looking at the Indoor champs setup sheet where he used a spool

Any of the 3800's fit but you have to narrow the pulleys and make room for the connectors. not a big deal. The new 5000 on the other hand that takes alot of work....

We will support the car with parts. But the consumers have spoken and (at least from us) quit purchasing that car. So we blew them out and they are gone.

Watch it become popular again for some reason now... ...lol...

parts from us should be fine for years.

Regards,
-sales
