I lost the tags that go on the springs for the spring rate, is there a way to measure the springs to determine the rate?

They should be around 10 bucks. You use all your diff parts except the pulley and diff balls tp make a spool.

Hey spool users. Can i just convert my regular diff to a spool by taking out the diff balls (cleaning out the grease) and reassembling with just the diff rings -tightening the diff screw until it doesn't move. or do I really need the Losi pulley to make the spool?

I think that the threadless part of the screw is too long, and without the balls the pulley may wobble excessivly (i think there are tiny mold injection marks there, not sure though).

Will work for about 3 minutes. Most likley you will over tighten the diff and break the threads. It will be a pain in the but, I tried it all last spring and getting the spool pulley was the best route.
