Looks good! I'm curious to hear opinions on that layout as well since mine is the same. The only potential problem I see is your motor wires look awfully tight in that pic. It looks like if you were to get hit or anything that flexes the car, thats going put a lot stress on your ESC since theres no slack in there.
Which Speed Passion is that? If my 17.5 gets here today I'll post pics too.

its the SP 1.1 running a 13.5 tonight will actualy be the Very first time its to be used so i am quite excited about that as its my very first brushless setup

With regards to the motor wires its got 20mm play each way which should handle impacts fairly well (but i dont plan to crash tonight lol) but yes i am a tad worried about the flex but i am hoping there is sufficent amount of flex there

it may look tight due to the way i have solderd it to the ESC as they are almost piggybacked on top of each other but still giving full solder contact to the tabs

thanks for the feed back i will keep a close eye on it tonight and report back when i get home for racing i am really looking foward to running the SP for the first time

hey all: I agree with both sides of the argument in that on one hand the type r is great just the way it is,but on the other you'd like to see something new for it just to know that losi is still comitted to sedan racing and the type r. Thanks

Here are some pics of my car with the Losi speedo. This mounting position is the best way imo. I have like half an ounce on the opposite side next to the receiver. Its not perfect but It doesn't feel off balance at all. Plus its super dialed.

First time running brushless tonight and i had a awfull night the track was very slipery for a aspult track the RP30 or CS27 just provided no grip the punch from the new brushless setup if i gave the car any on power out of a courner i woudl end up facing the opposite way the back end just wouldent grip atall so i really need to find a good setup for outdoor aspult on a slipery track

off hunting for a good setup i guess

I'm studying your car Larry because I know its fast. Couple of questions for you. Is your car balanced like that? It looks like that would be front heavy with your weight in the front half. I have 1oz of lead on the back half in front of the spur, and that balances mine perfect front/back, left/right.
Are those enclosed ball cups you're using the ones that come with the shortneck ball studs? I resorted to putting a 4-40x1/4" screw through the rear camber links to keep them from popping off. Also, I did the same thing with my shocks because they were popping off. And finally, wheres your sensor harness?

My sensor wire is on there is just under the wires and behind the speedo. I dont know if the car is balanced or nor do I care. I stopped using scales and got fast. I always run my electronics forward in this car, just always have. Those are captured ball cups in 2 spots the steering links and the rear camber link, both because they are in the longest position and arent long enough to reach without the longer cups. Once a ball cup pops off once I throw it away and replace it, which doesnt happen often.
