So are you saying that Rookie likes to talk the talk, but trips on the walk?

Most definitely, Nexus! How's the wife & kid doing? I saw a guy doing a wheelie down Michigan Ave. and I was thinking of you! Man, I miss those days. Marilyn is glad I retired the bikes for RC. But I may start using the track bike for work if gas prices keep going up... well... that's my excuse to her anyway.

Tommy, what bike did you use to race. Our Formula SAE team is looking for a couple Yamaha R6 '03-'05 engines for our race car. Did you used the stock ECU on your bike or did you guys have an engine management system?

We're limited to 610cc and on top of that, we have to run a 20mm air restrictor . They dont want us college kids turning into splatters on the pavement.

Default Pictures 8/9/06

Here are some pics and a quick vid I took yesterday.

http://www.tigertf.com/files/lh/

Track is going to be good. Surface is smooth and there was a good amount of traction considering they had little traction compound down and no rubber yet. They are still working on drawing up the final layout. Had a bunch of pics of different tracks to get ideas. Also, after looking at the pits it should work out just fine.

Ira,

Would like to stop by next weekend and Scream the Monkey once or twice. The issue is. HOW TO GET TO THE TRACK? I have been to the track web site and not had much luck. Thought about driving around and asking neighbors for directions, but that did not work so well in June. Found the big tracks, just not the one I was looking for.

Directions from 57 to 55 will work fine.

Thanks.

This will get you right to the track, you need to look close for the Schweitzer rd. sign.

See you at the track!!!!!!!!!
