i know alot of you guys use the standard 540 can tamiya motors
but how do you lot break it in?

right im going to water dip it on 7.2v but i dont have a charger capable of doing this so is it alright to power it straight from the battery?
and have i got to make sure the connections arent in the water?

you can entirely submerge it.
Put a bit of detergent in the water too

Antnee, What they are saying is something U will discover when U dip Ur motor. Everything gets wet but there is very little chance of receiving a shock. Even if U only put half of the can in the water, the motor will pull the water up through it. (just like as if it were pulling cooling air through it.)

we used to use baby food jars... just the right size (the taller models..)
