Default Aircraft regulations

Can anyone provide info on what you are allowed to take as on board luggage rather than putting it in the hold?

Also, what items can you not take and need to purchase at your destination?

Plan on taking a car and your radio as a carry on and pack the rest in your checked luggage. The only things that the airlines have problems with are oils, tire compounds and com drops. Best to buy them where your going. Everything else shouldn't be a problem
