Exclamation TAMIYA TRF-501X - A SERIOUS 4WD!

TAMIYA finally is getting serious with regards to Off-Road Racing especially now that the IFMAR Off-Road Worlds will be held in Japan next year. At first glance the TRF-501X looks to have a number of similarities with the YOKOMO MR4-BX. It is belt driven, uses a saddle pack battery configuration, is decked out with a carbon fiber chassis and top deck, lots of blue aluminum bling, and incorporates a mid-motor placement design.

Here are some Pics:

So What Are Your Thoughts?!?

Uhhh...that this was posted a few months ago???

As I recall, it was a pretty big thread with all kinds of info and conjecture, as well as the usual "they copied XXXXXX" statements.

Ha! HA! Ha! Oh Welll.... as you can probably tell I'm not big into Tamiya.... the last Tamiya kit I bought was back in 1983.... a Hot Shot which I still have in great condition. I'm just a 4WD fanatic and it is good to see the biggest RC company in the world get serious about 4WD Off-Road Racing!
