Hey Dennis!

I went back to reread this forum but I couldn't find if you're back modding motors again. Is it true? gimme a buz or email.

Brad / Tennesee: now back in Cali and ready to start racing again. Be gentle with me, my skills and equipment are rusted
Put the Impulse back together today and actually DROVE for the first time in 5 months.

When you guys coming out here next? Shoot me an email.

patella, the 2686 is not an inline pipe. The 2690 is the one probably. It's a polished inline set which includes the 2691 pipe and 2692 manifold.

The turbo version of this pipe is the 2695.

Default Exhaust post.

Thanks a lot for the post regarding exhausts Dennis, as it said, you have a part of your 'forthcoming' R/C Competition engines by Dennis Ritchey

Found on a spare box a Mugen exhaust (it's the same that comes with the MTX2) and has engraved an EFRA homologation number 2501.

Regarding EFRA website this homologation if for a MMielke pipe, how is this pipe? good, crappy?

I finally got my .15 back from Dennis after a crazy hunt for a p/s. I think this was one of the last motors taking up space in his shop. I will be sure to let you all know how it works as soon as racing season starts up again. I can't wait!!

Dennis,

Do you do rebuilding on the motors you've sold?

InitalD I was wondering why you were saying that when I mentioned it on the V1R thread. I took a third look at it to make sure I'm not crazy. The pipe has "ART 2686" written on it and it's an inline pipe. I did look at my box though and the box says 2695 polished turbo M15. I don't know what the deal is I would think the # etched on the pipe is the one to go by though.

Where are you getting your information as I wouldn't mind seeing a list of all these pipes.

motorman

ive heard two different things about rod on mr-12 engine is it a mid length rod or short ive been running the rd logic pipe and it screams

i just got a sirio 5 port and i was wondering what is rod length a friend of mine has it and he says it has tons of torque and i looked inside and the piston looks small so i was thinking it may be a long rod engine

i got the rd logic roar legal pipe i thought untill i measured the stinger and it was 5.8mm did i get illegal pipe by accident i think it was in a red box

what kind of advantage is there in running a .15 header i got same inline setup patelladragger has i think to run in major races but quite honestly i dont know what its going to do for me i was thinking top end power but stinger is only 4.9 and its really close to the end of pipe

now that i am home the pipe i got is nova mega 2690 pipeset inline m15 pipe itself says efra 2691 i think its for a .15 engine the header looks really big i plan on using it for big races only it was too expensive for club races motorman what do you know about this pipe

and the other is rd logic

i also ordered another rd logic pipe it is supposed to be the non roar legal version but since i believe i already have that i am hoping speedtechrc sends me the roar legal this time it was in red box doesnt say any part numbers or anything on box except rear exhaust one piece pipe

does anyone know where to get the manifold only for one piece pipe setups i would love to have an extra or 2

Patella, I gather you don't frequent mytsn?

Anyway, under the products section, you can type in the part numbers and they will give you a link to the part, be it NovaMega, Hudy, Serpent or XRay.

Like what Jason mentioned, I don't think the ART number etched on the pipe says anything of the real part number NovaMega designates it.

Hopefully this thread doen't fall off since Mr Richey is not cutting for the general public. We all hoped he would shead some more light on the modifying aspect and his expertise on motor and pipe combos. Hope to hear from him soon.
