And what are you doubting? Be a little more specific. I made more than one comment.
If it has to do with the lap times, you would be surprised.
When I say slower- I am meaning don't try to drive the car
to hard. I have done it my-self - try to drive faster by
late braking, trying to carry more speed in corners.
You actually go slower.
Use less throttle to set for corners, instead of Just flooring it
every where.
Or me geting 7 min of run time. Heck we got 3 min warm up
before our 5 min qual. I don't even fill up. I make the race.
I just might be lighter on throttle then some.

You saying that it seems to be the same people with the problem all the time. Well just to let you know motorman and his sponsored driver have this imaginary problem. I reall doubt your 2FAST4 them most of all is what I doubt!

2fast4U2,
we have a bunch of very experienced gas racers at our track that have been racing gas cars for decades. All of them that switched to the NTC3 have the same freaking problem.
Also, it's a fact, that A/E is working on a new tank, so they seem to see a problem as well.
You should probably give Lett a call and tell him how it's done.
Maybe it is the level you race on that is not high enough to show the problems.. just a thought

Ahh, thank you. I was leary about the Novarossi because I have heard you preach about the short rod motors and did not know if this is one of them. I thought that at least the Colari 5-port would be the quickest but I guess I thought wrong. Thanks.

Dennis, you got mail.

Ofna 7 port
Dennis, have you actually seen or driven one of those.
I've only seen their ads in the magazines so far.
Any idea where they can be bought?
Thanks

Sorry guys but 2Fast4U2 is right. The problems you guys have are motor tuning problems. All of our cars here work fine.We havent had any problems with the tanks.Associated is only coming out with a new tank to keep people happy.Thats why they were testing it at the Nats.
Stefan-I believe 2fast4U2 beat Richie so I would say we are on par with everyone else out there.(No offense Richie ,just trying to prove a point)
Also 2Fast4U2 ran the same setup at the Nats as he does at his home track.Who knows how he would have done if you actually played with the setup.I think maybe everyone needs to set there motors back to stock needle settings and retune them.I had to one weekend because of the heat and its worked fine since then.It temps 275 and get 7-8 minutes of run time on a stock tank.It pulls first and second gears hard. And yes I run a Nova motor.
Also that tank is the same one thats in the gas truck, you never hear problems with it.And trust me the factory guys run the hell out of the them in hour long mains.
