best street p-lot car
Hello im looking into maybe getting into the cars, i love the way you can put different tires and wheels on them and the paint jobs and bodies. I love touring cars but i don't really wanna race any or at all. Im looking to run it on the parking lots and streets. Am i asking to much or is there a car for me. either way nitro or electric. Thanks Aaron P.S im also wanting one that has alot of aftermarket support and is easy to work on.

TC4 with the tub chassis... There's a few decent Tamiya's but since no one around here carries them I wouldn't know... The Yokomo CGM is also a good choice... You'll get the best parts support with Associated though.
You want a Plastic or graphite impregated Tub style chassis, Carbon Fiber and rocks don't mix.

x2 on the XXX-s it's drivetrain is completely sealed, and it's a really smooth car. I think that I would go to my LHS and see what they carry. If they carry AE then I would get a TC4, Losi a XXX-S... you get the point. This way if you break something it's just a 20min trip away instead of having to order things online.

Start with somthing used .
check out the for sale section on these forums .... Some of the user's are offering some great deals. You can get everything you need there at half the cost. Car's , batt, motors, radio. ect...
I would suggest an electric touring car over the nitro. ( they are just less finicky) As people mentioned before the Tc3 and XXXs would be my top choices for you. they are both great car's. Just check what your local store has parts supply for. Once you get cookin in the parking lot ....you Will get the itch to race
check out some local races in your area. You'll find that it's a great hobby and you'll have many years of enjoyment.

i chaged to the black belt b/c i wanted the extra strenght
but i did fone on the stock one, i used it for 3 months of heavy bashing and it was fine, but i use 19 and stock motors, as for mod i duno
thats the only car i have owned, so i cant really compare

i have had so much problems with my mlst with the hopups i just don't want another mini they are pain to work on. I also have to wait and see because im going to move down to Cushing OK. so i need to see where the hobby shop is and go from there hu? I really like both cars are they pretty easy to run and work on?

My buddy had a TC3 and he used to get rocks between his spur&pinion chewing up gears and making it come to a screaching hauly, it was a real pain. My other friend has a TC4 and hit a curb so hard he messed up his chassis and BENT his shaft. I think this is a really rare case tho.
