I run an FK05, about a 116 tooth spur is as big as you can go without issues. A 112 or 114 will also be fine, better quality spurs, like PRS will run quieter and last longer. 64 pitch works great for touring, as long as you set the gap carefully and make sure the motor screws are tight. I like the 64 better, it allows smaller increments in gearing. Sometimes one tooth with 48 will be too much or too little to be just right. Either will work really, if you're a beginner, go with th 48p.
