I was just told yesterday that my car should be at my house in a couple of days. Just in time for the Starbuck Udder Madness Classic!

In my losi 4wd's I have run both a Gtb 5.5 and a 10x1. I liked the smoother powerband on the 10x1. The Gtb would hit this certain spot in the powerband and suddenly shoot off like a rocket. The 5.5 was faster but harder to drive. I will stick to brushed from now on for better consistency.

Yes I think I'm gonna stick with brushed as well..... Brushless is very nice but you lose some of the tuning options you get with brushed.

Kendall raced his Predator for the first time last weekend. We raced at the 10th annual Udder Madness classic in Starbuck Mn. Not having any spares yet worried me but the car is tough. The track was a small tight track and very hard on equipment, we only broke a rear wing mount which we epoxied back together. Kendall never breaks his 2wd mod and he broke 2 arms and one turnbuckle on his Losi XXX cr. Out of the box the X10 handled very well, I think we might try a few small changes to make it better and we will post them on here so others can try. Kendall placed 3rd after triple A mains.

Us and most people when first looking at the X10 think it may be fragile, when you get to looking at it close it uses upper and lower A frames. Most cars just have a turnbuckle for an upper arm, the X10 has upper A frames front and rear which doubles the strength.

Congrat's Kendall ....... Yes I've been saying how durable they are... yes when you first look at them you think.....wow I'm gonna need lots of spare's. Like I've told people before I've only broke 1 arm and I have broke a wing mount... and just recently stripped the front shock pivot mount. And I've had mine going end over end and then some.

I've had several other 4wd's out their and still have 2 BJ4we's .... I've broken more arms and shock towers on them then the Pred. during less crashes. Don't get me wrong the BJ4's are awsome cars and well proven.

Hey 22racer and Kendall.... get the alum. wing mount brace tube. that will help with the rear wing. Part # c116

Which hole did you strip out? If you send me the part I can helicoil it for you. We have almost every size at work.

Where you're rocker crank pivot post screw's into on the Front gear box cover.
I've had people tell me they heard that was a weak point of it but I can mine for a long time and have taken some hard hit's and it just gave out about a month or so ago. I havent had a prob. yet with the new one but have a spare just in case...

Have you had that prob. with your's and helicoiled it. I have some helicoils but not that size. At least I dont think I do.

What kindof track you running on...

We didn't strip it out, Kendall has only raced his one weekend so far. (I am his Dad) I have fixed many parts on our Losi's and other cars with helicoils.

The only tracks that my X10 has been on are a 40x80 black dirt track that we ran holeshots on, and my 40x80 track in the backyard. My track has a sandy lair on top so it is kind of loose.

One of the things I am going to try and work on is getting more off power steering, I drove a buddies Kyosho and it had excelent off power steering. I am sure I can get some dialed in there.

Well, I was running one o-ring like they said in the manual, but there was a huge triple and when I would launch off it the nose would go right up, so I added one more to level the car out. Otherwise I would have run only one o-ring on the front. That was probably one of my problems, I could have had more off power steering with one ring on. I will also probably go to either 1 hole pistons or 60 wt. in the rear. The rear would hop around a little too much for my taste, I think it was trying to react too quick.
