Another Matched Battery Thread
I'm looking at getting some GP4300 battery packs and am a bit lost with all the matchers. So i am looking for a company that sells good quality packs at reasonable prices.
They must be GP4300's as I dont want to have to take as much care with them as I would with the IB packs.
Thanks in advance

Not to be stupid or anything, but why in the world would you want to make sure you buy cells of good quality from a top notch matcher if you don't plan on taking care of them in the first place? Makes no sense to me!

From what I have read IB cells do not like to be dropped below 0.90 per cell.
I do intend to take care of the cells, just I would prefer something that is a bit more robust so if I forget to discharge them fully after a race the pack wont be useless

IB's don't require any more care then the GP's imo.

Why go overseas when you can get Eastpower 1.21+ packs for under US$50.00

IB batteries suck. they deteriorate in performance week after week. i will never buy them again. why would you want 4300's anyway?

my experience IB dont last as long as the GP's.
but i bought my IB from a local matcher. the gps were from pro-match, so that could make a difference.

I have IB3800, IB4200 and GP3300, GP3700 and GP4300
First the cells need proper care, so:
1. don't live them totaly empty for longer time
2. don't discharge them under 0,8-0,9v per cell
3. don't overcharge them(heat is killer of the cells!) don't go over 50c-i have ice charger and temp. cut off is set to 46c!
4. always use liner charging
5. buy good charger
The best for me is:
IB3800 and IB4200 - only runtime is diferent.
then
GP4300
then
GP3700
I use them for mod. racing and for low turn brushless and brushed motors and this year i have newer kill a single cell yet(owner of 12x6cells packs all matched!)

Okay I just read this thread. I myself is still using my 33's from last season.(purchase at the end of the season). I was planning on picking up a few 38's in a couple of weeks.
I was just curious if one could let me know what is the best way to maintain these cell. I mean the 33's are great. I run stock and 19.
I presently charge my cell at 6a on an advange charger. and alway tray them on my much more tray's. I only run each pack once except for the first two which I run twice that day. but I do rotate which pack go through twice.
So any info would be great.
