Yes You can run the motor in the rear if that is what you want but you will run a 2 piece upper deck.

Default Pics a few back

Jochim
I believe there are a few pics quite a few pages back of the v1 chassis with the motor mount displayed in the rear position..
think it will be an easy change..just unscrew the top deck and motor mount then place into rear screw holes and place on the two piece top deck.
guess race configuration will depend on what type of feel you like to get from the car.

thanks...Marty...can't wait ...hopefully i'll get to use it next weekend.

I've seen the V1 version But since the car is more balance with a mid motor I was assuming marty made the car just a mid motor.

Default cool

I think it will be a nice option to have on the car.
When you guys get your cars it would be great to know what you guys think about the handling differences from moving the mount from rear to mid config and what type of tracks you guys use for which configuration.

Marty said when you have the motor on the rear the car feels the same as the other cars. But when you have the motor on the middle the car handles better with ton of steering.

The car has a ton of on power steering with the mid motor setup! I have found that the mid motor setup works better than the rear motor mount setup.

Default Holy BD

Marty looks like you've outdone yourself with that creation.
holy Yok..

I just also noticed the Motor mount has heatsink fins. Way to go.
Looks like the BD parts fit perfectly.

Gotta give it you...you definetely found a way around the Yok steering. thumbs up.

can't wait to get it on the carpet track.
