Cell equalizing discharge rate

Cell equalizing discharge rate
If I use my Reedy Quasar Pro to discharge one cell at a time after draining the pack of 6 to 5.4 volts, what rate should I set the discharge at when discharging a single cell for the purpose of equalizing them? Max (20 amps) or some lower rate?

20 or 30 nothing lower

Results: Discharged pack at 20 amps to 0.9 volts per cell, then discharged each cell individually at 10 amps to 0.9 volts. Individual cells varied in remaining charge from 40mah to 700 mah.
Charged pack at 6 amp rate and 5mv/cell, 30mv/pack delta. Pack took approx 400 mah more charge than previously to peak. However, the pack was much hotter than previously. Almost too hot to handle.
Reduce delta peak to 3mv/cell? Unfortunately I do not have an easy way to tell the actual temperature of the pack to know whether they are overheated.
These are IB 3800's.
